As January is drawing to a close I thought I would share the things I have loved this month. Most of these will be Christmas presents so I don't think my favourites will always be this big but there's a whole range of things, ranging from things that have made my life easier to things that are just fun. Moving to university is a scary and daunting time in many students' lives and for many Freshers' week is the prime time to get to know everyone and have a great time before lessons start. However, some people - like me - didn't really enjoy Freshers' Week and there's nothing wrong with that, it's not for everyone as there is a lot to take in in the first week or so...
I can't believe we are a week into 2016! It feels like 2 minutes ago since I was stuffing my face with Turkey and now I've just finished my first essay of the year (and when I say 'just finished' I mean like 10 minutes, pyjamas and chocolate later) But I've been thinking about New Year's resolutions and how I can apply them to my blog.
I've been wanting to do this for quite some time and never actually got around to it, so I thought 'what better time to try new blog ideas than the new year?' With that in mind I thought I would show you my make-up look I did for New Years Day - it's not a particularly heavy look as I was spending time with my family and I felt like I would be too done up if I had darkened my make-up. I was also wearing a new outfit which featured a green skirt so I didn't want my make-up to clash with the colour of my skirt as I mostly own red lipsticks.
